Amazon India to recruit 20,000 temporary employees in its customer service department

Amazon India on Sunday said that it is hiring around 20,000 people in its customer service organization to improve the shopping experience of customers in India and around the world. This appointment will be on temporary basis. Amazon India reported that these temporary appointments will be for Noida, Kolkata, Jaipur, Chandigarh, Indore, Bhopal, Lucknow, Hyderabad, Pune, Coimbatore and Mangaluru. The company is making these appointments with an estimate of increasing its customer base in the next six months.

Amazon India will make these appointments for the Virtual Customer Care Program. Work from home has been provided in this work. Those appointed by the company will help customers through phone, email, chat and social media.

The qualification for this appointment is 12th pass. Apart from this, one should have a good grasp in English, Hindi, Telugu, Tamil or Kannada language. According to the company, many people will also be made permanent by the end of the year based on the performance of the employees being appointed.

Akshay Prabhu, director (customer service), Amazon India said, "As per the increasing number of customers, the company is constantly reviewing the needs of new appointments in the customer service organization. We estimate that the number of subscribers will increase further in the coming six months. In this time of Corona crisis, many people will get livelihood from new appointments. '
